iapps Receives Three 2005 WebAwards for Web Sites Developed on Orgitecture® Software Platform

BURLINGTON, Mass., Oct. 25, 2005 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ:BLIN), a provider in cloud-based Web Content Management, eCommerce and Marketing Automation software, announced that it has been awarded three 2005 WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association. The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation and the Eugene & Agnes E. Meyer Foundation each received "Outstanding Website Awards" in their respective government and nonprofit categories. The Boston-based Barr Foundation received a "Standard of Excellence Award." All of the web projects recognized are developed on iapps' Orgitecture software platform.

iapps' Orgitecture software platform facilitates the development of custom Internet, intranet and extranet sites using a repository of web-based modules to support the online publishing, collaboration and community-building needs of its customers. The software modules included in the Orgitecture platform are: constituent management, content management, logic-based survey tools, discussion boards, resource libraries, calendaring, email newsletter tools, event registration, and more.

"We're honored to once again have our work recognized by the Web Marketing Association," said Miles Fawcett, iapps' President. "We believe our clients are stellar examples of how the Internet can be used to improve the effectiveness of mission-driven social enterprises."

In 2005, WMA judged over 1,800 entries on design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use. Judges include members of the media, advertising executives, site designers, content providers and webmasters.

Since 2000, iapps has received over 25 awards from the Web Marketing Association. Web properties developed by iapps receiving WebAwards in past years include: The William T. Grant Foundation, The Partnership for Public Service, The Annenberg Foundation, and Center for Health Care Strategies.

Now in its ninth year, the WebAward competition for web site excellence is conducted by the Web Marketing Association, Inc., an independent volunteer organization founded with the purpose of evaluating, recognizing and increasing the standard of excellence on the World Wide Web. The annual WebAwards competition judges web sites against Internet standards and peer sites within their industry.
