Bridgeline Software Develops New Internet Web Site for the United States Postal Service
BURLINGTON, Mass., May 17, 2001 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ:BLIN), a provider in cloud-based Web Content Management, eCommerce and Marketing Automation software, announced that it has developed and has delivered a custom interactive internet site for the United States Postal Service. The US Postal Service is an enormous operation, with over 800,000 employees, visiting every household in America every day. The US Postal Service is operating in an extremely complex environment, clearly understanding the threats posed by e-mail, along with foreign and domestic competition, yet constrained by an antiquated regulatory system.
Working with the VP of Strategy, Robert Reisner, and the US Postal Service Office of Strategic Planning, Bridgeline Software developed a unique web site to communicate the Five Year Strategic Plan of the US Postal Service and solicit commentary from key internal and external stakeholders.
The web site, called "Talking Strategy," includes video commentary on each subsection of the Plan by the most senior US Postal Service executives, including the current Postmaster General and the Postmaster General elect, as well as several Congressmen.
