John has been passionate about Product innovation since the early days of the Web Content Management space. He started his career as a co-founder of FatWire Software, taking on leadership roles in Products, Marketing, and Professional Services. FatWire was acquired by Oracle and added to WebCenter Sites. John became VP of Solutions Engineering and Professional Services at WorkMarket - a SaaS Freelance Management System for enterprises looking to scale a contingent workforce. When WorkMarket was acquired by ADP two years later, John stayed to develop Packaged Solutions that addressed Product gaps sold as part of Professional Services. Before joining Bridgeline, John helped build the Solutions Engineering team for WordPress VIP, an enterprise division of Automattic, the parent company behind WordPress, WooCommerce, Jetpack, and other open-source tools.
John got his BA in German and Political Science at Tufts University and spent his junior year abroad at the University of Tübingen, Germany. He then continued his higher education by completing his MBA at the University of Maryland and spent a semester in Caracas, Venezuela, at IESA.
John lives on Long Island with his beautiful wife and three very active boys. He wakes up early to swim laps, ride his mountain bike and road bike, and run when his knees are up for it.
