As an Assistant Product Manager at Bridgeline Digital, you’ll work as part of a team in our Chicago office located in Rosemont, IL helping the product management team in defining roadmaps, collecting requirements and assisting the Product Manager on day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter with excellent communications skills with experience in working with SaaS solutions preferable.


  • Work with Product Managers on product management and development activities for multiple SaaS products including site-search, SEO,CMS and Ecommerce (B2B).
  • Conduct competitor and industry analysis for identifying and proposing product improvement initiatives.
  • Understand the customer and industry needs, provide requirements for solutions to those needs, and work with R&D team during execution process.
  • Cross Collaborate with delivery, sales, and customer success teams to provide support and guidance on product management tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Measure, analyze and present reports on product performance including trials, conversions, and other metrics as needed to support the product launches.
  • Work with marketing teams to plan, develop and implement product marketing strategies.
  • Prepare product marketing presentations and publications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of business processes and knowledge base for all products.
  • Develop product management plan to achieve roadmap goals and ensure communication with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assist in conducting internal staff and customer product training and preparing supporting material. 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 0-3+ years of experience working with Software technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Technology.
  • Strong project management skills and the proven ability to drive momentum.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and prioritize tasks based on immediate and evolving needs.
  • Ability to work with technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Working with SaaS technologies (Site Search,SEO and Ecommerce).
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence, GA, Google Data Studio a plus.
  • Experience with B2B software a plus.
  • UX experience a huge plus.
