New York Times launches updated enterprise website developed by Bridgeline Software

BURLINGTON, Mass., Jan. 17, 2003 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ:BLIN), a provider in cloud-based Web Content Management, eCommerce and Marketing Automation software, announced that the New York Times, one of the world's largest publishers, updated and refined their online media kit to service the company's various advertisers around the world. Utilizing state of the art Internet technologies, Bridgeline Software developed an improved navigation and an improved interface for the New York Times enterprise website.

The new site was created and launched around the New York Times 2003 offline media kit. The goal of the site was to create a consistent look and feel between the offline and online media kit, create an intuitive interface to quickly find the appropriate rate tables for advertisers as well as give New York Times personnel the ability to manage the site internally.

"BRIDGELINE exceeded our expectations in terms of the site's ease of use as well as overall site branding and design," comments New York Times managing director Andrea Beecher. She continued to say, "BRIDGELINE's user experience team brought years of experience to this project that added tremendous value to our organization."

The updated site gives New York Times advertisers the ability to go on the site to learn more about the New York Times and what they have to offer as well as provide advertisers the appropriate rates needed to make an educated decision about advertising with the New York Times.

With an unrivaled staff of journalists (the largest of any newspaper), The New York Times is the most honored of newspapers (81 Pulitzer Prizes and counting), as it brings its readers "All the News That's Fit to Print."
